CoverWrap reference
Before you publish.
Use artwork and writing you own or have permission to use. This independent tool prepares KDP paperback covers for left-to-right, black-ink interiors with white or cream paper and the four supported trims. It does not support hardcover, dust jackets, color interiors, IngramSpark or Lulu.
Outputs are RGB PDFs and SVGs. They are not CMYK, PDF/X or printer-certified files. Check effective image resolution, crop, spelling and print specifications. Use the KDP previewer and a physical proof before publishing. A correctly sized PDF does not guarantee acceptance.
The reserved barcode area is conservative application placement. The tool does not generate an ISBN or verify KDP automatic barcode placement.
Uploaded pictures remain flat. New text and backgrounds are independently editable in the SVG; install the bundled OFL fonts to preserve layout. Compatibility claims are limited to software actually recorded in the local acceptance report.
